Gables Fitness is announcing their 2010  90 Day Better Body Challenge, which starts on

September 13th and we want you to be a part of it.

The journey ahead of you will  not be easy, but if you stick with this and complete the 90 Day Better Body challenge…I guarantee the most rewarding experience of your life!

After all , if you don’t have your health you have nothing. On the flipside, with excellent health you really do have everything as you will  see just 12 short weeks (only 90 days) from the start of the challenge.

The trick is just to get started and stay committed, which is why we came up with this – after all, everyone loves a challenge, right?

You will  notice we have prizes to giveaway to our biggest achiever  courtesy of Fit 2 Go Meals, Camelot Salon and Spa, Green Gables Cafe, Lauren’s Face The Day Skin Care.

What is the Gables Fitness Better Body Challenge all about?

By creating the Gables Fitness 90 Better Body Challenge, we are  hoping it will  inspire people to make exercise  and proper nutrition a top priority in their lives.  Lots of people know what they’re supposed to do, but they need a great incentive to get started.  And what better incentive is there than for you to be able to build a better body, win some prizes AND raise money for  St. Jude Research Hospital at the same time? That’s what the Gables Fitness Weight Loss Challenge is all about.

Who Participates?

Anyone at any fitness level. Gables Fitness is setting up 2 Challenges.

1. Corporate Challenges- A Teams of 4 or more people will be grouped together against another team in the same company or if you want to get a group together to challenge another company.

2. Individual Challenge-  Don’t want to join a team? No problem. Challenge yourself to look your best.

Gables Fitness provides all the accountability, tools and options company teams or individuals need.

How Much Does It Cost To Participate?

The Cost is $20.00 Per Person. This Money Goes To Winner(s) and a portion is donated to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. There are several ways companies can set up the challenge and here are some suggestions:

1. A company gathers a  group of 4 participants to compete against another group in the same company.

2. A company gathers a group of participants to compete against another company.

3. Individuals compete against other individuals.

There is two monetary prizes. One is for a company participation and the other is for individual.

Gables Fitness Does Not Make Any Profit off of the Better Body Challenge Entrance Fees.

I’d like to accept the Gables Fitness Better Body Challenge, but I don’t know a lot about nutrition and training.  How can I learn more?

You can get lots of great information on our website and by downloading our nutritional guide and supportive food shopping list, you will learn why the concept of eating frequent, healthy meals every 3 to 3 1/2 hours, is crucial if you want to see and feel amazing results in 90 days.


  • Gables Fitness will be providing Video Sample Workouts and Sample Workouts that you can print at your computer using Fitness Builder, an application you can find for your iPhone or other cellular device.

Gables Fitness Is The Official Weigh In Station But….You Can Use Your Own Trainer To Perform Measurements.

Gables Fitness is the official weigh in station. Our personal training staff will provide at no cost to you:

1. Girth Measurements

2. Body Composition Analysis using BSDI SOFTWARE to track your progress.

Now, if you plan on working with your own trainer, you can have him/her monitor your progress. We will provide the Progress Packet to him/her.

In addition, we love to take on new clients who are motivated to change and improve their lives. If you are interested in participating in one of our programs:

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to reach my better body in just 90 Days or win the challenge?

So you might not reach your goals in 90 days, but if you weigh 10 pounds less then you did before the start of the challenge and you feel energetic, happier and healthier isn’t that a goal to be happy about?

In fact, that’s a great idea to keep you motivated and on-track to achieving your goals.  I admire those with the strength of character to keep at it.

Do I have to keep track of my weight or body fat percentage to officially compete in the Challenge?

Well , you do have to include your weight on the entry form .  However, body fat percentage is optional.  Please share the information about your progress that is meaningful to you. For some it will  be body composition percentages, for others it may be cholesterol levels or blood pressure. Many women for example find that dress size is a meaningful indicator; whereas  men find that keeping track of their waist size and the size of their arm or leg to be a good measure of success. But that’s up to you. The only thing that is 100% mandatory is your weight.

I don’t belong to any gym. How can I get started on the training portion of the Challenge?

You don’t have to belong to a gym to complete the training portion of the 12-week program.In fact you can even perform exercises exclusively at home.  You can run or walk outside for the cardio workout, or use an exercise bike or any other type of cardio equipment. Here are some ideas:

1. Join A Gym that you feel comfortable with

2. Sign Up For Classes You like: Zumba, Kickboxing, Bootcamp.

3. Purchase Workout Videos.

4. Sign up at Footworks of Miami

5. Join Frankie Ruiz and Nike Run Club Of Miami

6. See if any of our training programs interest you.
